| What should my humidistate be set at? |

Most important, the humidistat main function in southwest Florida is save electricity when one is not occupying their home. The humidistat overrides the function of the air conditioner if the humidity is not too high.
If you are leaving the home for a period of time and just want to control humidity, we recommend setting the humidistat at 55-60 R.H. and the temperature no higher than 80 degrees.
If you are occupying our home the humidistat shall be set to “ON” and thermostat set to the desired temperature.
